Podcasts
This is very familiar to me in that I use I tunes frequently and feel quite comfortable downloading podcasts etc
What I did learn though was how I can apply this in the learning environment for the students to have the podcast to asssist them in their learning, revision and when their absent.
I also use You Tube regularly for my practical classes as there is great resources for how other salons /training schools do the same procedures as us.
YouTube is a great resource we can use in the classroom. Whether it is finding a demonstration of a practical application for hairdressing or 'how-to-use' a device, YouTube is a great source.Equally, you could get your students to create a vidoe and upload to YouTube for all to see. In an educational context, this would assist other RTO's delivering the Hairdressing Training package.
