I have enjoyed learning about Flickr, It has great resources that I can use in my hairdressing classs to source coyright free photos suitable for the units delivered.
I also feel that application would be useful for the students whilst on workplacement to show them in action in assisting colleagues ,so they can load the photo's onto flicker as opposed to using myPLS.

MODULE 3

WOW , I will definatly use IGOOGLE  DOCS, It was great to form new documents and have the other staff add their input straight away.Unfortunatly the Upload document wouldnt work so I am going to retry again later as I feel this would be a benefit to my students.

This week I learnt all about different types of Blogs and there uses
I noticed a blog from an American Art Teacher that has posted information about paintings and the ability to sell the paintings thru the blog.
I also saw a blog about" boys and books" and noticed posts from students offering their opinion on interesting books they have read.

My name is Leanne Connor and I work at Southern Cross Vocational as a learning facilitator of Hairdressing.
I am very excited about starting the Web2.0 Course, I look forward to using Blogs and wiki's in the classroom to aid my students in there learning of Hairdressing.
What I have learnt so far is how to set up an Igoogle account ,add gadgets and tailor the page to my suitability.
